Architect Kevin Harris, FAIA, takes Helm as President of the ICAA College of Chapters
Baton Rouge, LA. Kevin Harris, FAIA, the founder of Kevin Harris Architect LLC, has been elected President of the ICAA College of Chapters and the Chapters’ representative to the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art (ICAA) Board of Directors. ICAA is the nation’s leading nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the classical tradition in architecture, urbanism, and the allied arts.
Harris began his firm, Kevin Harris Architect LLC, in 1982. His book, “The Forever Home,” is in its second printing. Recipient of over a dozen design awards and featured in more than 50 books and print publications, Harris is widely recognized for his contributions to residential design and historic preservation. He is a graduate of LSU School of Architecture and Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design.
As the charter president of the ICAA Louisiana chapter and a current member of its Board of Directors, Harris has played a pivotal role in advancing the mission of ICAA and counting Louisiana among ICAA’s chapters highlighting our area’s significant architectural and arts.
