Last week, a writer for Trulia.com contacted me for an article on things to ask before you hire an architect. The writer was Virginia Brown and we had a great conversation for about 45 minutes. We talked about the things you should ask before you hire an architect, but we also had a chance to talk about the important role our homes play in supporting daily life of its residents, in expressing culture, and in keeping (or mending) the fabric of a healthy neighborhood.
